Real Hip Hop Beats
This is exactly why Canibus has failed as a mainstream artist. He is too smart for this game, you hear his struggle in every one of his songs. He is stuck in a past, a past that comes back in this song through those three metaphors. Man, this song is so timeless and the stories he tells so unreal and yet touching. His lyricism is so deep, yet so simple at times. Real artist here.9 years ago

Stoupe is legendary as always.Canibus on the other hand has always been difficult for me to label. Can't find connection between the three verses other than the first ending in a loss of hearing, the second in a loss of speech, and the third in a loss of Sight.Reminds me of the see/speak/hear no evil monkey thing where the three monkeys each cover a different sense.
