It's good to see all you people giving Canibus his due respect.In regards to the battle with Dizaster, I think time just caught up to Canibus.15 years in the game, in his mid 30's given the way he puts his verses together, the man has memorized so many bars of rhymes that now it's becoming difficult to keep it all in his head. It's like asking Sean Connory or James Earl Jones to recite from memory an entire script at 100 words per minute. So maybe he should of not did the battle, but nothing those battle rap dudes have done can compare with the live stuff Canibus has put down during his prime years. And I would venture a guess that if he didn't have the pressures of life to deal with he would tear anyone of those battle rap dudes out the frame.

LYRICAL GENIUS....His brain operates on a different dimension. People need to stop bringing up the Dizaster nonsense. He lost one battle to Diz and everyone's jumping off the bandwagon like idiots. Canibus revolutionized the game in this way: he showed guys like Dizazter and all these contemporary battle rappers how to construct absurdly complex multi-syllables while still being coherent and entertaining. Before Bis, NOBODY was rapping like this. Pharoah Monch is another lyrical titan who might just have the most complex lyrics ever (debatable), but Canibus really showed these current guys how it's done.
