Jarre demostrando que cuando quiere, domina perfectamente el arpa láser y lo demuestra con este magnífico directo de este tema del disco Waiting For Cousteau. Este tema está recortado y remontado (a parte de por motivos comerciales) dado a que el arpa láser se le estropeó y le falló (en sonido y tiempo). No consiguió funcionar correctamente hasta casi el final del tema. Esto se puede comprobar en las retransmisiones de radio de dicho concierto.

The dark long sound on Calypso 2 which is a bass sound I think I don't know, but I have JMJ - Waiting For Cousteau Songbook here at home, but that dark long sound which is bass I think it is a Drone sound :)12 years ago

I don't know which bass or synth Guy Delacroix is using here for this dark large sound on Calypso 2, but as I have noticed many times, watching this concert over and over again because it's still my favourite :)12 years ago

this is incomplete version btw, you can hear it on radio broadcast, first he tried to play the laserharp live(this part is cut on vhs) and it was malfunctioning as always, then it's like he turned on the backup recording which you can hear here. Vhs version is heavily cut.13 years ago

I agree this is the best JMJ concert and that's why I bought JMJ Paris La Defense on VHS in 1991 and downloaded this concert ripped from a Laser Disc :D I don't think the DVD with JMJ - Paris La Defense is on DVD yet :(13 years ago

Because it was already 2 hours long and packed with great songs. ;-) I would also love to see a third laser harp song being played, either Calypso 2 or Chronologie 3. But that's just because I love the laser harp so much!!14 years ago

On Calypso 2 there is a very cool bubble sound or effect hehe :) I guess ya have noticed that folks :) I wish I could get more of JMJ soundfonts onto my keyboard like the sound effects JMJ is using on Calypso 2 :)15 years ago

One of JMJ good assisant is of course Francis Rimbert and he is very good and have very good fingerskills when he is playing on his synths and keyboards :) It's that guy with a arm bracelet on his left hand if you wonder and it's he playing Steel Drums onto his synth :) I like he and JMJ are playing good together :)Videos Relacionados
