As I stated about The Alice Band's cover of DFtR; ahem, points for trying. Now other than the attempt at a carbon copy; what is different? Good try; the keyboards are more prevalent than in the original; but,,,,,,,, I'm not sure of the reason behind this cover. HIM did a very good, very funereal version more disturbing than BOC's version. Sounded to me like they had been using Bloodrock as a role model for eeriness. You want WEIRD, check out these guys from Texas. They had a single in the 70's "DOA" that was banned by some stations around the country. Nuff said? Yes, they are on youtube.Guys: if you want to cover another band stay in your vocal league. Give Better Than Ezra a listen; VERY underrated, VERY talented band who could use more exposure. And don't forget about Blue Coupe, Albert and Joe Bouchard with Dennis Dunaway. Their vocal range is more in keeping with what you sound like you are attempting. Besides: Buck has enough money pocketed from the six films who've showcased DFtR, as well as Godzilla and FfY in 5 other movies.

me too. 'caesars' are a much, much cooler band; and i've seen 'b.o.c.' live three times! a perfect example of a song being improved; by leaving out the self-indulgent guitar leads. i used to like 'buck dharma' until i learned to play lead guitar better than he does, it's just too easy. i love 'caesars' and i don't listen to 'b.o.c.' anymore.
