Buck doesn't do a bad job; fact, he does a credible job with covering Dan Seals. But at this point in his career (perhaps still shellshocked at Don Rich's death a few years earlier) he wasn't at the top of his game, sad to say. Maybe it was burnout too, who knows? Still, it's a nice, forgotten gem and a rare glimpse at Buck's Warner Bros. output, and I'm glad to have heard this upload. Thanks!
