Bobby Taylor and Thom Bell with an instrumental version of the Jackson 5 hit, released on the Philadelphia International in 1975. As far as I know this was their only single release. Bobby Taylor is credited with discovering the Jackson 5.

This is simply the backing track to the Bobby Taylor release on Tommy (Thom Bell's label) with added electronic keyboard noises. 'BT & TB' being Bobby Taylor and Thom Bell - though Bobby probably had little to do with the instrumental! re. The BUCK release on Playboy. This is a solo artist - (possibly Ray Buckner?). He had at least two other releases on the label.14 years ago

@hollidayevery thanks for the info! Well, it was less dumber than it seemed, because the length is 100% the same :) That's why I assumed these "Buck" guys were identical to "BT and TB".14 years ago

@pianoman74 It's by a group known as BUCK...on the Playboy label, and it is a vocal version, different than any of the other versions...15 years ago

Thanks for posting. Bobby Taylor has had loads of fantastic releases. This was originally done by the Four Tops but I think the Bobby Taylor (vocal) version is the best. It was also done by Beck.15 years ago
