All this oasis nonsense is just pointless context. Music is great, this track is great, why complicate with musical history, influences and other bullshit?

Mr Phil, please be kind to take back your opinion to that miserable little hole where it came out, and go back to your pointless life and keep on thinking that someone cares about your 'precious' thoughts

Oasis were much more than you think you know. They were the BEST band of the last 20-30 years. A band that mattered. Liam's not one of those celebrity wannabes who think about their public image 24/7. he says w/e he wants. noel gallagher has been named the greatest lyricist of his generation by George Martin. Oasis deserved everything they got and more, much more. BRMC embraced Oasis too. you are probably one of those people who never got passed of Wonderwall. Noel & Liam are living Gods.

Oasis? They sound like a more bluesy Jesus & Mary Chain to me. I guess I can hear a bit of an Oasis sound in the background of this song, but that's it.

Oasis never had a chance. They were lucky the got as far as they did. The Gallagher brothers are fucking knobs. Especially Liam. That asshole is a monkey. He might be the dumbest man in rock history, which is saying something. Liam makes Sid Vicious look like David Byrne. And Noel is about as good a musician as the guy whose job it was to tune John Squire's guitar. Oasis wasn't the next Beatles. They weren't even the first BRMC.
