The only song that still puts me to sleep in the most perfect way. Absolutely love everything about this song been sleeping to it since 8th grade and I'm 24 now. Perfectly created to ever note and emphasis on each line. Now I'm drunk as hell on a piano bench, and when I press the keys it all gets reversed. The sound of loneliness makes me happier.....

"Then end of paralysis, I was a statuette. Now I'm drunk as hell on a piano bench, and when I press the keys it all gets reversed. The sound of loneliness makes me happier." This song is inspiring.

The story of a kid who used to see his another go along with the serpent and then realized war and the world is not what he thought had to respect his other and get drunk and cry for him and the world. Being alone is sometimes the best thing in the world. Awesome stuff.

Oberst is a single cell on the serpent's tongue. That about sums it up, eh? Great tune.... As for that yellow bird, I can't help but think of that scene in The Crucible when the invisible Yellow Bird flies into the rafters and the "possessed" girls fall to their knees in fear. I know that it has nothing to do with this song, but in a stream of consciousness world everything is connected like a figure 8. Cheers!
