This is possibly the worst cover I’ve ever heard of this song. It’s like he’s purposefully singing out of rhythm because he thinks it’s will make it his own. He’s great. The song’s great. So, just sing the song as it was written. Please. That’s what a cover is. If you want to do this, title it, “Bridge over Troubled Water”, as interpreted by John Legend. This is not enjoyable in the slightest.
