Oh - everything I do I do for you

Oh yeah

We touch and you're afraid of me and

We burn and now I'm at your feet

High speed, but you know you're in safe hands

In the dark we make a brighter light

From one spark to the horizon wide

We trust and together we tame the land - yeah

You'd be forgiven if you think you're dreaming

But we're working night and day to make a dream come true

- yeah

Everything I do is driven by you

Oh - come on babe

Oh well it's tough to make a journey through

The right stuff is dead ahead of you and me

And you know we've still got time

Hold on tight to the driving wheel

This ride is really out of line

Raw deal, but there's no other that's worth a dime

You know I love you but you drive me crazy

'Cos you're saying all the things I want to say to you

You say

Everything I do is driven by you

Everything we do (4x)

Everything we do is driven by you

Inner children lost their way

Now they know the price you pay

I'm holding on to life with you

'Cos life without you just won't do

Driven by you

You know I'm never going to know who's dreaming

But we're working night and day to make a dream come true

- yeah

Everything I do is driven by you

Everything we do (8x)

Everything we do is driven by

Driven by

Driven by you

Oh - everything I do I do for you

When i look down in the comments i saw how people are complaining about the fact that this is a Brian May song not Queen, but remmeber it´s (Queen) not Queen they only mean that Brian was a part of Queen nothing else.

i dont understand why he didn't change the lyrics beacuse it seems set up for an advert. this song would have been more successful if they had

those people who think brain may is underrated must not be players themselves, every guitarist i have ever worked with hold him in the highest regard ,not only this but Gilbert via satch nuno eddie and just about any relevant player in the last 30 years are all fans of his work .

He's a fantastic musician and composer of timeless anthems. One of those sounds when you hear it you go "That's Brian May" he's the Guvnor! :)

Definetly an underrated guitarist is Brain May; simpy incredible fretboard specialist, everything from rockabilly, classical, metal, skiff and folk. There are faster and flashier but May's style, innovativeness, and mastery (including when to just play simple chords and wait) along with some good songwriting skills make him certainly top 20 material!

i feel Steve Vai is unneeded here... I mean, what he plays here can be easily played even by Steve Jones.

Erm..... I'm not sure this was a Queen song- wasn't it on Brian May's solo album "Back to the Light"? In any case- it's a great song but whenever I hear it the mental picture I get is a bunch of Ford Orions. I sure hope Ford paid Brian well for the ad..... it's positively RUINED the song for me. =)

His guitar work on These Are The Days Of Our Lives, for example, almost sounds like the Red Special is crying the tears we all know now he wanted to cry (between Freddie's ordeal and his marriage going up in smoke). It's not what anyone would call fancy by any means, but you can't help but feel his despair.

I agree entirely! He's a great composer and showman. I think he has the most distinctive guitar sound ever actually.

With Brian it's not just 'notes and sounds', he has a great understanding of personal interaction and how to become one with his Guitar and making it work for him in the way he wants it to.

Happy 65th Birthday to Brian May for the 19th July 2012. One of the nicest and genuine Guitarists in Rock. Steve Vai blends in beautifully and lets Brian take the limelight.

Vai's still on the hairband crap that killed rock and roll in the 80s and turned it into one big Elvis jumper suit-like cliche. Only they were alive but a living parody of themselves. Btw, I love Vai and Queen too. I just close my eyes when I watch stuff like this.
