Be more like '67. That's a mellotron doing the strings. Sure not 1964

I really enjoyed this, very interesting to hear - I think it's about time that Brian Jones' film music from A Degree Of Murder was released in high quality on CD.

This song could have been released in '66/67', sounds likea Sgt. Pepper outtake.

Had he lived, I think Brian would have explored more with World music.Would have been wonderful He pioneered the way with the Joujouka album.

Fact is, if Richards and Jagger hadn't taken over the band, it would've died in the 60s like Brian did.

All you have to do is look at clips pre ALO and after to see the change in Brian. He went from being a bit of a wildman and doing backing vocals to all but standing there. Think that's where things started to change.

Either way it was a pity his lost, for the band, the music and I guess his love ones. Another big lost for the Stones was Mick Taylor a fine guitar player whom seams never got on well with K Richards, so he was substituted by R.Wood, a party-pal for Richards in his wildest years

It is clear that B.Jones was the most prolific musician out of the first line up of the RS where Jagger and Richards were unable to master any instrument...Brian could play any instrument and compose music,he was far talented than the rest. His behave being mean and a fucker to other at times (may it be for personality issues, traumas, drugs&alcohol abuse) push him out of the Stones as he couldn´t take the rise of J&R as the driving force of the band.

Brian was NOT a prolific writer but was a better musician than Mick and Keith put together.Think of Brian as George Martin.Did Martin write ANY songs for the Beatles? Do we think The Beatles would've been the same Beatles without George Martin? By Keith own admission, he had learned to play guitar a few before he joined the stones and knew 4 chords. "I wanna be your man" was an all night affair to tech the stones a Beatle throw away.Yes Brian self-destructed but he engineered the Rolling Stones

I believe he could write if he wanted to. That's why he did the soundtrack to that movie, cuz his girfriend was in it and he was losing her to kieth. He was like "Oh fuck I better do something" lolz

Not true. He did the soundtrack to a movie called "a degree of murder." That shatters the illusion that Jone's couldn't write. I think his lack of writing could be a combination of a lot of things. I think he was insecure, plus he got into drugs. He also seemed a bit disinterested after awhile. Maybe the band wasn't a good fit for him. Maybe he didn't feel comfortable bringing material to the band after Mick & Kieth took over. Who knows.

All right, I doubt you'll read this but fuck it, you're spreading all sorts of lies on here. I too enjoy Brian Jones work and legacy, but please shut the fuck up. 1st He was pushed out because he was an asshole who treated everyone else like shit, just listen to Charlie or Mick talk about him. 2nd Everything you said about satisfaction is wrong you dipshit in reality Keith Wrote it with Mick with no external input. Finally when you post tonnes of comments on one video you look like an ass nugget
