Brian Bennett was once the drummer for The Shadows but became a musical composer for numerous television series theme tunes. This album recorded in 1978 on the DJM label was subtitled "A Journey into Discoid Funk". It was re-releasd in 1980 by Bruton Music catalogue no. BRI 10 under the title "Fantasia" with different track names, but identical music. Sourced from a vinyl copy in my collection.

yes , oh my god ??????? OMG this is from 1977/78 but it reminds me a bit of Blade Runner / Soundtrack from 81/ 82 Vangelis blues...? So that how Vangelis got his Ideas from...? Awesome.....8 years ago

This lp from Brian Bennett called Voyage from 1978 is a very special space record. It has great sounds from Francis Monkmans Tons of keyboards, Alan Jones on electric bass, and then ofcorse Brian Bennett on Drums adn Percussion, and as composer of the whole record. Great Music. A hard record to find. But enjoy if you can!!!!13 years ago
