Charted at #98 on Billboard Hot 100 in May 1965 and #25 on Adult Contemporary chart. "No One" had been a #34 charter on the Hot 100 for Connie Francis in 1961. In 1963, another version by Ray Charles charted at #21 Hot 100 (#6 Adult Contemporary, #9 R&B, #35 UK). Original Billboard review: "By far one of her strongest ballad offerings to date which should spiral to the top of the charts." Written by Doc Pomus and Mort Shuman.

B-side is "Too Many Rivers" but the B-side quickly overcame the A-side in radio airplay and became the big hit.

This is actually the A-Side of 'Too Many Rivers.' 'Rivers' was actually the b-side.

Great song, I am Brenda's biggest fan from way back when.....I am wondering when this song was actually recorded, her voice on this song sounds like it did early on in the early '60's, it went downhill a bit after that and wasn't as strong. I am thinking this was recorded in the early 60's and added as the "B" side to "too many rivers" several years later.

if only songs today were as good as they were back then. My kids used to say 'mum you should get a life' when I used to play these songs, now they are in their 20s they think these are the greats. This music will be around forever
