(composed by Wojciech Kilar)

So I was obsessed with Bram Stoker's Dracula during middle and high school, loving the interpretation of the classic tale as both a love story and a horror story. The film holds a special place in my memory, due to the low-budget but reasonably inventive special effects and the score, a firmly romantic exploration of the themes established by the film. I rewatched it recently, and the film itself didn't hold up for me, but the score remains as decadent and evocative as ever. This waltz has always stood out to me, combining simple melodies in harp and celesta with a pungent harmonization in the strings. I had some difficulty coming up with an arrangement of the tune, and have decided to settle on what you see here - I couldn't QUITE get my accordion to sound enough like a swarming mass of strings with artificial harmonics for my taste (which is a frequent problem for me...) - but it was nice to explore this work, which I've been listening to for years, in a little more depth.

yes. it's very creepy, and u look quite insane yourself, u belong in an asylum next to Renfield playing this music, but you wouldn't mind because you'd be in a world of beautiful landscapes and visions in Coppola's dream world. Seriously though, great job
