With the Steve Miller Band for their first two albums, Boz Scaggs carved out an inimitable niche for himself and soared on his own with many hits starting in the 70's. A great concert from 2004. Rita Coolidge also did a very popular cover of this tune.

better than ever is absolutely right. I started following Boz Scaggs late 70's and into the 80's. Never forget when he started to make his comeback i believe mid 90's. I saw him on his comeback tour in Philadelphia and was never so happy to hear that voice again. All the best to you Boz, we all love you.

Truly, never gets old. Fortunate to see him 5-6 years ago and he sounded great.

"...learn how to pretend..." - that's how it all starts to unravel! Maybe this is a "how not to do it" song?

I realize this performance was 10 years ago but I think Boz has one of the few singing voices that has become better with age. Seasoned like a fine wine
