I'm from Ticonderoga, and I'm not sure how this song relates. However he did say "Old ship" Could he be referring to the S.S Ticonderoga air craft carrier? Idk, but I like the song.12 years ago

broohaha22: You're correct. But it was in Washington, D.C. -- and the violinist was none other than one of the finest classic musicians in the world, Josh Bell. The Washington Post put him in a subway to test to see what people's reactions would be or even if they could tell that what they were hearing was genius and if it would even cause them to pause or stop on their ways to work. And he was playing a freakin' Stradivarius! Ha. Awesome experiment.15 years ago

Happens more often than you think. I read somewhere that a renowned classical musician with a very expensive violin performed a free show at a metropolitan subway station with little fanfare during rush hour. Not sure if it was Boston, but almost no one paid any attention or were in too much in a hurry to stop and listen.15 years ago
