Born to Suffer is a young Russian metalcore band. Its first studio release,

Grievous Legacy, presents a mixture of metalcore riffs, epic melodies, mind

breaking dissonances and nonstandard bar sizes in compilation with exploding

breakdowns. With a strong emphasis on technique and experiments, together

with its heartfelt behavior on stage, Born to Suffer has received the

reputation of a thoughtful and eccentric metal collective. The lyrics, which

are mainly oriented towards global and social problems, are another

remarkable trait setting BtS apart from the crowd.

Early 2010 saw the band sharing the stage with such monsters as Arsonists

Get All the Girls and I Wrestled a Bear Once. In November 2010, the guys

made one more of their dreams come true with a supporting slot for American

melodic hardcore band For the Fallen Dreams.

In January 2012, guys are presenting their first full-length album, which

will become a breaking point for the collective. Two years of work and

experiments gave a birth to their new unique sound. The album is produced by

Roman Kharyukov, a renowned Russian sound engineer, and is mixed and

mastered by Brian Hood, famous for his work with My Children My Bride.

The name of the new release is still under wraps, but the new single and

official video "Recurrence" will give listeners a taste of what's in store.
