Some decades ago, ABC TV's 'Good Morning, America' did a segment on teenage suicide. As they panned the pictures of the teens who took their own lives away, ABC played this tune. Yes, it was not pretty. Tears one up, for sure.

Crozer Theological Seminary, that at the time was outside Philly. my father taught there 40 years, and i lived on the campus until 1970. i spent a lot of time w/ the students when i got older. (MLK went there between Morehouse and Boston U., and was a student and friend of my dad's before my time.) it is historical fiction, because i make up a central mystery that begins in the 50's, which i solve in the 60's: a professor goes missing and is feared dead. i am still on the first chapter. i was interrupted, because i had to find a new apt.
