Now I know where Bradley Nowell got some of his lyrics from a few of his songs, especially the 89 vision. Great song, KRS-One is a legend, and he's still relevant today.

How can you possibly dislike the BDP song and actually call yourself a hip-hop fan?!

You listen to the Sublime song "KRS-ONE" and every single DJ scratch is from THIS album, as far as I can tell, Mighta been Kris's most reggae ish album maybe thats why it was Sublime's fave, just guessing.

@nitenstyle Listen to the very end of Masta Killa's song School feat. RZA, there's a Tupac sound bite biggin up wu Tang, saying he loves them and he feels like "they represent the East coast the way we represent the West Coast" I thought that was dope to hear.

@nitenstyle Fuck yeah, all that dirty south shit that started late 90's, god damn bullshit! 98% of those dudes couldn't even speak english, sure Outkast was dope and I dug the Geto Boys, Goodie Mob but only Cee Lo. Things are changin' though and the South actually has some dope artist's, 9th wonder, Little Brother's first album, Jay electronica got some lyrics....I guess I can't even think of that many, oh yeah Ludacris can be dope too, when he's on point.

@falseistrue - Nas is great. I havent listened to him enough beyond Illmatic to give you any educated argument, but in 1993 I would have gone right along with what youre saying.

@AnimalMother1976 Nas is the best artist to ever pick up a mic.

@frankwhite432 Jay-Z - I used to hate him for all the bling BS and stealing the "Blueprint" but Blueprint 3 won me over. He gets the crown. KRS ONE - Nobody up until him and not many after ever put this much heart into Hip Hop. I had the Blueprint the summer it came out. I was 12. Guru - Mostly The Voice...but Primo never hurt an MC's sound, right? MF Doom - He is making the English language his bitch and his lyrics are far too layered for anyone caught up in BIG/2Pac BS GZA - WU TANG
