Robin Thicke - Blurred Lines ft. T.I., Pharrell - Drum Cover by Libor Hadrava. When I first heard this song I wanted to know what was musically happening in such an awesome multi-layered rhythm/groove. So I went to my studio and figured it out. That was the easier part. Then I wanted to recreate the groove as close as possible by playing all the parts I heard at the same time. The drum parts on their own are genius but with the music on top......... WOW. So that's how my Drum Cover of "Robin Thicke - Blurred Lines" was born. Lots of fun playing it. :-)
It reminded me of a 4-way independence exercise out of my book "In-Depth Rhythm Studies- Advanced Metronome Functions" - http://www.liborhadrava.com/in-depth-rhythm-studies/
