-Lyrics in Description-

Artist: Blur

Song: Ambulance

Album: Think Tank

I ain't got

Nothing to be scared of,

No I ain't got

Nothing to be scared of

No I ain't got

Anything to be scared of

'Cause I love you

I was born out of love

It's the only way to come into this world

I know I'm not all there

But I'm getting, getting, getting there

If you let me live my life

I'll stay with you to the end

And I know, Lord

I'm nearly there

I want to tell you this

I ain't got

Nothing to be scared of, no

No I ain't got

Nothing to be scared of, no

No I ain't got

Anything to be scared of

'Cause I love you

I ain't got

Nothing to be scared of

No I ain't got

Nothing to be scared of

The intro reminds me 15 step by radiohead.

People who slate "Think Tank" haven't listened to this, "Ambulance" and "Out of Time" enough.

"I was born out of loveIt's the only way to come into this world" I protest! Look around and you see a lot of children conceived because of strategical reasons or even worse because of one-night stands. And you see that many or most parents have never loved each other (they only LIKED each other strongly). And after 15 years or so their "love" has "died", that's what they tell others and themselves. But real love is something different - and it can't die. Firstly you must love yourself before you can contact another man inwardly. But most people say no to themselves, they only copy stereotypes, combine some individual aspects to it (which are also often copied from other people) and call this product their personality or the self. But it isn't. It's maybe because we need recognition from others, but somehow in history of mankind something has changed, and since many hundreds/thousands of years we can get this recognition only when we *please* our fellowmen. They (parents,school,...) don't accept and don't like us when we behave idiosyncratically and individually. So we learn what they like and behave that way. But this strategy leads us away from ourselves, our very personality. And because love can only grow from authenticity, most people are not able to love each other. They kill everything that could grow with their expectations, demands and disrespect of the other person's world. This disrespect you can see when a person lets the other one feel that he/she is not the way he/she *should* be. Little grumblings and those looks when you know you don't please. But love is totality. It doesn't ask questions. It doesn't nag. It doesn't demand. It just takes you as the way you are.

Absolutely brilliant. Me and my best mate used to listen to this song 10 years ago... This is my favourite Blur album and in my opinion is very underrated!

Level número no me importa porque así se es pasajero en un taxi. O en una ambulancia

0:52 is the reason I live. The most chilling yet satisfying use of the sax I've ever heard. Wish I could live in that moment forever.

Easily their most "Radiohead" album.

It perfectly describes the nervous hours when someone rushes to the hospital. It is obviously about the birth of her daughter, was this written when she was born, in 1999 or later? Anyone knows?
