What's up with Dizzy yacking during Sonny's solo?  Gus didn't miss a beat however.  True professional he is.  Sonny could steal a show.  Might have worried Diz.  Thanksfor these wonderful postings.  Great stuff..

MUS 300-0011. Dizzy Gillespie - trumpetSonny Stitt - tenor saxLou Levy - piano Ray Brown - bassGus Johnson - drums2. Swing3. 12 bar blues4. Holy cheeks. Just like Mr. Miller said, he looks like a puffer fish, buy he's a solid trumpet player nonetheless. I love how Gillespie and Stitt feed off each other in this piece, it's really neat seeing them work together.
