Panubis... seriously? That's what you have to say? Are you into 'poser' bands or just not into music? BOC is, always was and always will be one of the BEST, musically, lyrically, most original, killer bands ever... from the arena days up till there's no more Erick and Buck. Maybe there's less room to 'swagger' ..which is never a word I'd associate with BOC... on a smaller stage?

Sure they do. When the swagger leaves then music largely becomes a paycheck. Watch vids of R.L. Burnside and you'll know what I talking about. I'm not saying they should get back out the with cat suits but if they are going to do then the should play those songs like they wrote them yesterday. Madonna once said something very wise. "I don't perform Material Girl anymore because I no longer know who that is."

I hear ya, it aint easy getting old... but I will say that during the time I worked with them (1994), they played with just as much intensity as a show in 78, although I havent seen them in a long time, I did get the impression they wanted to make their fans happy, (set lists were always well chosen) but whether or not thats a good reason to keep doing it, I don't know

I am just sad that they have let themselves become old men. The style and swagger that they possessed early on in their career is no longer there. They own these songs and can play them while filling out their income taxes. A Yes show looks the same. When you compare the 70's shows to the current ones the passion and fire is just not there.
