When I hear this, I think of a M.A.D.D T.v message ad with the narrative -"Drinking Is Your Own Business" , "But When You Drive, It's Everybody's".

Not the best acting I've ever seen, but the video was pretty good, and the ending was really cool. I thought that for the most part, the main character had a bit much energy and vigor for a guy dying from a vehicular accident. Also, the song sounded like a demo version or something; definitely not the full length original or the single issued on 45 r.p.m. record single.

Was this rerecorded version ever released independently of the video (single, album, etc.)? Musically, just as good if not better than the 1970 original

One of the best songs ever. I was lucky enough to have seen Bloodrock live way back when and I loved the song then as I do now.

Josh Dillon, I laso lost a friend less than 2 hours after he got his licence on his 16th bday. He got on a dirt road near his home snd floored it.They found the car almost 300 ft from the road.they figured it flipped 12 times. He had been thrown over 300ft from the car.

I prefer the original version of this song, but this recording is still fantastic. It hits close to home for me because one of my best friends was killed by a drunk driver on his sixteenth, only a few short hours after receiving his driver's license..

Wow! You don't know how long I've been trying to find this song let alone remember the name of it or the band. This is the first time I have seen this video and the song still gives me goose bumps. Thanks, a million times over, Jim.
