I have this 12", and I can tell the vocals were overdubbed in the studio. You can hear the original vocals in the background when she gets shouty (there's an echo in the hall). Interestingly, this is on the 3LP Blondie-Supergroups Live (radio only promo) and it is ALSO this version, though I had hoped not before I got it.. Is there any live video??

the theme here, editing-wise, seems to be hey yo bra-less! So hats, (bras) off to Debbie Harry, albeit in pixel form!:) You are awesome, Ms. Harry.

Good but Local H did a better job covering this. In my opinion anyways!!

Great cover of Bowie song! We can all thank "The Replacements". I would love to see and hear Debbie and Bowie remaking it together, it would be a chart killer!

I grew up listening to "Blondie" and all the great groups on both sides of the Atlantic at that time, (1978-82}. Also... i could look at her all day!

She was a pioneer for women in rock, sexually free and independent, creative and unconventional, but the fruits of her work was stolen from others singers: Madonna primarily .... fortunately over the years she has had the recognition of her great, immense work.

I've loved this live cover ever since I first bought the 12 inch single! SO many years ago!... Long live Blondie and Debbie Harry! They're still going strong and touring the world today. ;~)
