I still think this is a masterpiece of art. It's unlike any of the music I normally listen to. According to the quasi-science of astrology, mayhem breaks loose when mercury goes into retrograde. I love how the music speaks to the madness of the human endeavor in general, while the video shows what happens when we abdicate reason. The madness of war has to be the image of mercury being in retrograde (allegorically). Or as Shakespeare put it: 'hell is empty and all the devils are here' .

This song is far from good, but only Bloc Party could made me like this... I used to think that Intimacy wasn`t good enought, this song was a terrible mistake with this repetitive shit. I just realized that Bloc is so good that i respect almost all that work, obviously i prefer Like eating Glass, Trojan Horse, Helicopter, Luno and many, many, many, many others. I watched a show where they played Ares, i don't know why, but i was starting to like others songs that i don't. I really think that they have a unique kind of music, very diverse and creative. Big proof of that are the b sides and songs not released.
