Former child star Browning Bryant's self-titled album was the first recorded at legendary Sea-Saint studio, as well as at American Sound Studio in Atlanta. (This song was recorded in Atlanta.) This album was produced by Allen Toussaint, and featured the following sterling line-up:

Rhythm: Allen Toussaint, Tom Robb, Auburn Burrell, Joe Wilson, Barry Bailey, Roy Yager. Horns: Carl Bolouin, Alvin Thomas, Clyde Kerr, Jr., Gary Brown. "Browning Bryant," featuring the first version of Toussaint's "Blinded by Love," was released by Reprise records in 1974. It has only been released on CD in Japan. Browning was just 15 when recording of this album began.

In a 2014 interview Toussaint was asked what he had produced in his long career that he thought might have deserved more attention, and he said this about the “Browning Bryant” album:

"I remember feeling very good about the album but it didn’t do very much at all. I didn’t give very much thought back then to what should happen as I was always on to the next project. But thinking back that was a good one."

Good tune. Wow there is so much music out there that hasn't been heard by the general public-especially from the 70s
