I've always heard stories about how this song is related to Hansi in a personal sense as it was written when his father passed away but I never understand the connection lyrically from the version we all know, however when I listen to this demo I completely get it. This song is so sad, you can tell exactly what kinda mindset he was in and how that affected his writing. It is fantastic, totally relatable, and a look into his heart.

thanks for posting. I enjoy listening to the BG demo's- in my opinion the raw, unedited sound gives the song much more feeling. dont get me wrong, the studio recordings are still awesome.
