Richie professed a love for this style of music and living/fashion a looking time ago, even far back as the beginnings of Rainbow. And some of you fancy yourselves hardcore RItchie/DP fans?? Pshh... I will buy Jon Lord's 1st hand account that Ritchie always had the strong song ideas, but in imo, though the last reunited DP had it's couple radio hits, his actual playing in a blues infused rock format was stagnating. AOR was soon to begin to fade, and there was nothing left for him to prove nor to aspire for in the format. Wether I agree with his attitudes or personality (which I certainly don't always,) is irrelevant, customers when I close my eyes and just listen, I hear SO MUCH MORE in his playing, and love it. Good day! (at least to SOME of ya, lol)

Pretty good version of the song, though the original will always be the best. Coverdale puts more emotion, soul, and pain into it than anyone else ever will.
