There once was a fairy queen who lived inside a sacred treediety of water and light , sugar and love were her delightA forest of life depended on her,the moss and bush, the flower and fern,So vast her wisdom, so humble in vigoruntil the day whence came a wizard,He lay his staff and cloak aside, resting beneath her in great divide " Mother goddess of the trees so free, heed my words and heal my grief"," I call on thee to fight an enemy, it approaches now, a vile calamity"," breathing fire, wielding axes,trailed by smoke and falling ashes "" They come for you, i'll do what I can,please grant me strength, divine my hand "." not long now " he felt the ground,retrieved his staff and stifled his sound,the darkness approaches, the leaves start to shakethe ground begins to rumble, his heart starts to ache,Quickly the wizard begins incantation,carving runes in deep concentration.Looking up from the ground to gauge his time,uttering a spell in rhythm and rhyme.He can see them now, it shall beginone hundred heathens reign down on himHe bears no hope, just passion and heart,holding them back as the runes start to spark.The shapes at his feet begin to ignitethe tree at his back starts to shimmer with lightThe wizard was lost to the fairy queens eyes,as his light faded out, she wailed out in cries.she screamed for the vines and the giants of old,the faceless horde grew quiet and cold,Bark and branch came alive with vengeanceroot and thorn creeping in with penance,The enemy mass in flame and fear, were razed to the dirt without a tear,The forest cleared away the grim remains,mourning in sync with the falling rain.The fairy queens hero lies in the mudshe picks from her canopy , her favorite budHer biggest flower, flush red with love, she covers him gently , from petals thereof.Returning to her tree, she glances back at his grave,her tears are still flowing for the wizard so brave,She whimpers a thank you as she fades away.returning to the forest to await the day,Where there would be peace and love, no war and hate,she's still among us now, though it may be too late...
