Glen Hughes has a killer voice...But it's not the Sabbath sound.Ozzy and Dio......They had the sound.

A few months ago my Dad and I were at Wal-Mart going through their cd bargain bin. He tossed me this and I figured why not buy it. I was quite shocked at how really good it was. Heart Like a Wheel is my favorite off it.

I think he has done a excellent job on this song so far i will have to listen to the rest to come to a opinion..

Well to each his own I guess. No Rest for me is the best non-Rhoads Ozzy album, with Bark being a close 2nd.

/ What do you think of Dio Sabbath era lp's?

I bought No Rest when it first came out. I just can't listen to 45 minutes of pinch harmonics from Zakk Wylde when I put on anything from Ozzy in the last 15 years! Although The Ultimate Sin was a rather weak album and Bark at the Moon was over processed, Jake was one hell of guitar player.

I'm not gonna try to force a differing opinion on you about Ozzy, but I for one think that No Rest For The Wicked is one of Ozzy's best albums and it was from after the Rhoads period. I'd give that a listen if you haven't yet.
