My apologies to any Black Oak Fans. As a teenager in the seventies I happened to be at a few concerts where three or four bands played and Black Oak happened to be one of the bands on the bill I think I saw them three times - never because I wanted to. They were just there. One of the worst bands of the seventies. I just ran across this on youtube and gave it a listen. I was right they sucked. Sorry.

Back in the day used to know Harvey and Pat cool guys from around our area ,,,we all played some of the same Dive Bars,,,,very underrated southern rock band...they were the real deal..

i live in pennsylvania,and when they were in their hayday,our school would never even let them near the place.....redneck school....i loved them then,and still do to this day,so glad you learned to love them too
