Because, at the time, people hated their sound that had too much sustain , and too thick basses... make sure you dont come for a jam with a folk guitar, you won't get heard!!!

Pour moi Thomas symbolise le courage de persévérer. Le résultat est qu'au fil des années il est arrivé à un niveau excellent et n'a pas été démoralisé par son niveau du début. Outre les génies (un sur un million), tout le monde doit suivre la route de Thomas, qu'on doit respecter.

@musicowaco J'ajouterai que j'ai beaucoup de sympathie pour Thomas Dutronc car il a dû travaillé très dur pour acquérir ce niveau, on voit tout de suite un profond respect pour ses maîtres et cette musique, alors qu'il aurait pu choisir la facilité en tant que "fils de", c'est un choix qui à été judicieux et le rend sincère, ce qui n'est pas facile dans le petit monde de la musique, il a se battre et résister contre des con qui ne connaisse rien à la musique mais plutôt au business

@musicowaco Ah enfin, excellent point de vue! je suis tout à fais d'accord! j'ai découvert Thomas Dutronc en pompe manouche très discret dans l'excellent dvd Bireli & friends Jazz à vienne qui est pour moi la référence avec Stochelo,Debarre ect...en revanche en tant que guitariste je reconnait à Dutronc son talent, le jazz manouche est très complexe et technique, Biréli à une ouverture musicale très riche (Pastorius, Sylain Luc, Al di Méola, ect...) mais je reste sur Angelo Debarre.
