Farm Aid was started by Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp in 1985 to keep family farmers on the land and has worked since then to make sure everyone has access to good food from family farmers. Dave Matthews joined Farm Aid's board of directors in 2001.

Eddy's guitar playing was right there on par with Billy Joe's lyrics around this time. An awesomely badass combination, I don't care what anybody says.The four greatest words in music, I don't care what genre, are "praise the Lord, guitar." Once you heard that spoken, your ears were about to get blown away with the best country and western guitar playing that's ever been.10 years ago

Eddy used a Mesa Boogie amp usually but I've seen him use Marshalls too. Yes this is the guitar DB gve him & the Strat now rests in Willie Nelson's guitar vault.11 years ago

Eddy had a great tone. Does anyone know how or what equiment he was using? Also is this the fender he got from Dicky Betts, that was one of D Allmans guitars? Also what did they do with that guitar after Eddy passed away?11 years ago
