i love it when you come to youtube, select a song that has been niggling at the back of your skull all day...you finally find it, decide to tell everyone just how much it has moved you through the years...how much you appreciate the artist etc., only to have someone tell you that your opinion is wrong. Music is for those who appreciate it for what it is...so nobody needs to be reprimanded like some little child who stole cookies for having a difference of opinion. Just enjoy it for what it is...if you're here to call people out for voicing their opinion, you probably should have gone to FB

Big Joe Williams had such a varied and effective technique! A true legend.

Any person casting darkness upon Big Joe obviously has no business commenting on any blues at all. This here is the real natural blues. Rough, intense, real. Big Joe always a favorite alongside another "Big", that is Mr. Broonzy. Yes indeed!

do u know that every digital reissue is inferior 2 the original recording n has consistent criminal overdubs n inferior sonic output,it dont matter if u have a degree what matters is the records u have, analogue is how the musicians intended it 2 b,ive spent so long covering rare music,u never know everything cos yr not gonna get access 2 everything, this means its almost humanly impossible 2 cover the blues in full, unreleased stuff is coming out constantly.n u insult RJ n blag about credentials ?

i heard he sold his soul 2 the devil 2 play the guitar.not that he did it 4 fame lol.im a dj n guitarist ive been covering the underground rarities 4 over 25 years, music that most dont know exists, because it was only sold by the musicians at gigs.also alan lomax deserves alot of credit 4 recording so many great bluesmen n preserving it 4 tru blues fans 2 discover, the label is arhoolie.i buy the old records tho it makes cd sound poor cos it is.i bet yr degree didnt cover analogue tech or freedom

that statement only betrays your astonishing IGNORANCE concerning "The Blues", and the hard, violent, and short lives of the "Real" Bluesmen...to say that kind of thing about Mr. Johnson is sickening; it might be blasphemy. You, sir, need to buy some records, go home, turn out the lights, and LISTEN... You have no clue what "The Blues" is. You have no clue what "The Blues" is about. Loudmouthed, Half-Baked PUNKS like yourself give the rest of us regular folks "The Blues".
