My favorite track off The Crossing! (I know...They were All Great!) I bought it the day the album was released here in North America. It takes me back to the days of skipping school, eating mom's homemade tablet, macaroon bars, cakes and sliding in cassettes of Gregory's Girl and That Sinking Feeling into the old 100 pound VHS tape machine...and Cranking the Stereo up to 11! Inwards and Wonderland are great 80's songs. Both are considered new wave. Why did the lead singer have to die?? I think he was a manic depressive, he committed suicide.

In 1983, (when life was less hectic) I had The Crossing playing continuously for weeks as I drove around the streets of Melbourne. It may be my imagining that from around 4:05 there seems to be a strong influence to part of The Killers track 'Mr. Brightside'.
