Bruce, I had no idea that you were such a good singer (really, not being sarcastic). This performance was an example of supreme courage, because they had just parted ways with Bono2, and had not yet brought in StuAdamson2. Good job.Would have definitely paid 800 - 1,000 Pounds to be there (maybe 1500 Pounds to have had the privilege of playing 3rd guitar or a second drum kit with these guys).

watched and enjoyed big country many times recently in concert but without mike peters they do seem at home there as a pub band

Having seen these guys play in excess of 20+ plus concerts now, its great that they still continue to tour onwards and upwards lads - looking forward to hearing the new setup at Eric's in Liverpool.

JesusHJones. Can't deny that musically they don't sound bad at all but "credible again?" Playing in a pub with some bloke walking up to them to take a photo? The singing is average at best & I wouldn't describe singing from a song sheet as looking credible. I am a big fan of the band & saw them twice with MP & he did a fantastic & respectful job of filling for SA but there is an element of doubt amongst many fans as to what is going on with the band at the moment. This looks more like some tribute band down the local rather than the stadium fillers they once were.

Excellent, Bruce Watson and Derek Forbes two of the greatest guitarists of their generation. I hope this is Big Country's line up for the future, without the fat Welsh bloke on vocals. Hurrah Big Country are credible again. RIP Stuart.

Interesting that the band claim that they are going back to being a 4 piece and doing the vocals, Yet this backing singer they have got seems to be beefing up the vocals. So really they are a 5 piece band in all but name. Sounds good though.
