My brother was murdered in nineteen eighty nine this song always reminded me of him because he was so good looking and the girls loved him so He never cared what they looked like He was so sweet to them all Thank you so much for this song This song always reminds me of my loving brother who died at the age of twenty two and I was robbed of my life with him Thank you

Could you imagine The Big Bopper today? He would need an iPhone to start his act. Would've been interesting.

The sound of this song before....and the sight of his autopsy after would be equally appealing. Gross.

I think the phrase 'rock video' is his. This is how he described his promotional.

Ah, the Big Bopper, a radio star who also sang, also created the first official music video. A huge talent, he is missed.

Now I understand why the plane crashed, his obesity killed two of the most promising rock n roll talents of all time...

Amen to that, can never get enough of that line, makes me smile every single time. His music gave joy to so many and still does, but it's said that he gets over shadowed my Buddy Holly and Ritchie Valens on the anniversary of their crash, and you can forget about the pilot getting mentioned at all as well, tears.

I now understand his name. The only version of him I'd seen was on that La Bamba movie. Dude looks like he would have been a riot to hang out with.
