Nothing personal... They're good musicians, but this is not folk music, it's Vegas. And for us folkies who really are not against personal expression and innovation, this is just too much. Folk music may adapt with each generation, but like anything there comes a point when an artist is more concerned about mining a particular genre to implement in another.

Folk music by it's very nature changes,Adapts, Absorbs, I rarely see Criticism of Howling Wolf being "not real Blues because He didn't come from Mali, Bands such as Bellowhead, The Imagined Village and The Full English are managing to drag the " English" folk tradition ( almost sadly lost) to a new generation..Good Grief ,Dancing the Morris is becoming cool and the old songs are finding a new life.
