Paul is not dead! Why would you want him to be dead?

I like it. It's a more bluesy free jam sound. If they were still touring at that point, I would think they would have updated the sound on most of their early hits. There was a big difference between the sound of 62'/63' and 69'/70'.

They were just jamming in the studio. When they recorded this version, it was obvious that they weren't aiming for the standards of the version which they'd recorded six and a half years earlier.

In this version sometimes I hear "longitude", not "love me do". lol

Everyone saying this version is terrible or horrible - just so you know this is just them messing about between recording, it's not gonna be absolutely fantastic if it's not meant to be

Completely superior in every way to the original version.

Never heard this! I love it! The way Paul sings it "McCartney" and "Ram" style, relaxed and free, it's great!

Not a patch on the original. I'm so glad they made Abbey Road after this.

Some negative comments here. ..But every one commenting would want to be in the studio watching If they had a chance to....and it would be one of the high points of there life.

You really get to hear the RnB and rock a-billy influence . I could hear this being played like this in a honky tonk !

Paul seems much more at ease with the lead vocals on this version than on the very 1st he had to do 7 years before ;)

There's something sorta sad about hearing them sing these old songs. They had changed so much and so had everything else in the 60's. It makes me yearn for the innocent mop top Beatles a bit.
