@Swingsation65 This a Broadway tune, true, but when somebody is singing it on a pop album, then, of course, it is with pop sensibilities. It's not meant here to be the version from "Annie". That one is on the Broadway Soundtrack.

SONGBIRD is easily one of Barbra's most beautifully crafted and even albums. Not a dud in the bunch; every song memorable. The big orchestrated solo treatment given to the otherwise sappy version of You Dont Bring Me Flowers is amazing. This album is in my top 5 for Barbra.
