I never really realized until now that this song is pretty much screaming surrender. Stepping out of the way and letting God take care of it from here on out. I remember two years ago if you had asked me to take my hand off and let God take control I would have caught a fit. I would have shook my head, crossed my arms, and sat cross legged on the floor because I wanted things my way. But now that I am here(and I am thankful that God has taken me to this place), I no longer even have the energy to fight God's plans. I dont have the energy to say "But I want it this way." Granted I have wants and I have things that I desire to have and God may be saying no to them. But after a while I remember the peace that I walk in when I take the background and let God take the lead.
