Jimmy Reed has got that gorgeous accent! <3Yeah, in light of BB King's death, I'm feeling a fresh wave of grief over *Jimmy Reed's* passing. Jimmy Reed was only ten days older, but he passed away much sooner. That, combined with the fact that I'm much more drawn towards Jimmy Reed's music... Well, I'm much more sad about Jimmy Reed right now.

Jimmy was a huge influence on Brian Jones and Keith Richard's, they learned "guitar weaving" from his albums.

Words cannot express just how much I love Jimmy Reed! Really love his voice, and he seemed like such a nice guy - even if his drinking spun out of control in the late '60s. Indeed, he will be missed.Seriously, anyone who thinks that blues music is all wailing vocals has obviously never heard Jimmy Reed - or, at least, not recognized his music as blues. Howlin' Wolf is another great blues artist that I love, although *his* vocals can't exactly be described as "soft" or "tender". Jimmy Reed and Howlin' Wolf are great in different ways!

Legendary. I have to say my favorite rendition of this record would have to be Etta James' version.

I've heard many versions of this song, and I love them all. Jimmy Reed did a great job of writing songs that each and every artist could make their own, and it lost nothing during the process. Really enjoyed. One great talent, Mr. Jimmy Reed.

I love when the blues nazis try to correct me when I sing Jimmy's actual lyrics. I don't say anything other than "Look it up, rookie."
