"With The Wild Crowd!" was recorded at the Classic Center in the B-52s hometown of Athens, Georgia in February 2011. The gig celebrated the 34th anniversary of their first ever live show on Valentine's Day 1977. A B-52s live show is always the best party in town, yet here in front of their home crowd they even managed to turn it up a notch further. This is unashamed good time rock 'n' roll packed with great tunes, wild romance and a lot of fun. Fantastic musicianship is added to the trademark vocals of Fred Schneider, Kate Pierson and Cindy Wilson to deliver the unmistakeable B-52s sound as they deliver a set list packed with classic songs. Simply unmissable.

This came out in 1978... 34 years before this performance. When you think about bands that age, the B-52s still have their old sound and it is pretty amazing how close they come back to it even without Ricky Wilson who died many years ago.10 years ago
