The original version of the song covered by Ozzie and Black Sabbath on their first album. Issued in the UK in 1967 on Blue Horizon. Serious drumming.

What a shame it had to fade out.

Ansley is a superb drummer! Recording is not bad but Sabbath w Rodger Bain at the controls caught the 'vibe' better plus Tony Iommi enough said :) In regards to Jimi Hendrix Mitch's frantic playing equalized Jimi's sound it was meant to be, Ansley would have been a good fit but I think Mitch kept Jimi's music 'in your face' and the rest is history :)

Preferisco la voce di Ozzy e la musica di Tony Iommi ma 10:32 min sono troppi, sono pieni di assoli fantastici, ma sono TROPPI!

Ozzy Osbourne misheard the lyrics and so if you listen to the Sabbath version, you can hear him sing "I was born without you baby / But my feelings were a little bit too strong" instead of "I was warned about you baby / But my feelings are a little bit too strong".

A little trivia. Jimmy Page, originally wanted Aynsley to join him, and JPJ, in the "New Yardbirds". Aynsley turned down the offer, deciding that he wanted to work on this group. Page also wanted Terry Reid, to join as vocalist, but Terry had just signed a contract with someone, which made it, that he couldn't join. Terry, recommended Plant, who was playing with Bonzo, and the rest is history.
