B.S.A (short for Bottom Shelf All-Stars) is a independent rap group based out of Carbondale, PA. The group is made up of longtime friends Damian Hunter (Mylez High), Sean Farley (Tha Kidd Flow), and Anthony… Russo (Jokakid) Their first single as a group Hideheho was featured on Coast2Coast's mixtape, Next Up vol. 157, in July of 2014. On August 15, 2014, the group released their first mixtape Monster Rap vol. 1. The mixtape that followed was Monster Rap vol. 1.5 which they released at their Halloween/Glow Stick Party on October 24, 2014. Their first show as a group was a paid spot opening up for Tony Sunshine, former Terror Squad member, and after seeing the amount of support they were able to bring to the show, they decided to set out and put on their own events, giving other artist the opportunity to perform at their shows for free. On October 24, 2014, Lyrics Bar n' Cafe in Carbondale, PA gave BSA the break that they were looking for and they were able put on their first event at the venue. The word of the event caught the ear of a writer for the local paper, The Weekender and BSA were featured in an article. Planning and organizing everything from the ground up, BSA was able to throw a successful Halloween/Glow Stick Party which included their own drink mixed by the bar and prizes for the best and sexiest costume. They are currently planning and promoting their second event, a Black Tie Affair, with a strict dress code happening this New Years Eve with artists coming all the way from Las Vegas, Connecticut , and their hometown of Carbondale. They are also working on their debut album which they are planning to release onto iTunes in 2015. The three started out as solo artist from the year 2003 up until the present time. Releasing several of their own projects, building up their own fan base, and finding themselves as artist. It wasn't until the early months of 2014, that BSA was founded when Jokakid and Tha Kidd Flow returned to Pennsylvania after the two moved out of the area for a few years. The three realized that their loyalty, dedication, and team work, was the recipe for success. Working as soloists has helped each artist of BSA become their own person, with their own followers. Bringing the three together not only brought their talents and minds together, but also brought their fans together. BSA has been making their presence known ever since their creation of a new genre they like to call Monster Rap. Clean flows over trap beats with lyrics that talk about their struggles and what motivates them to be successful. "Monsters come from the bottom."
