You know, I've always said that there is something to be said for the "70s Disco Sound." Very much so. There was a concerted effort to destroy the music, the sound and the VERY GOOD, vibe that this sound produced, to the point that the genera itself, never really, got a chance to get off of the ground properly. Where as Rock in all its many forms has lasted for some 50+ years now, "70s Disco" barely lasted a decade. And NOT, because it was bad or inferior music by any means.I've been my whole, adult, life literally LONGING, and CRAVING, big time, for this sound and vibe to come back. To make a true and proper REVIVAL. As it so rightly, deserves. Now while this is NOT, 70s Style Disco, in it's true, pure form, and Modern Dance Music, most certainly, IS NOT; I feel this song and it's beat, comes extremely, close. Only difference being; "70s Style Disco," was heavy in trumpets and instrumental music, and much LESS, focused on this deep, intense, pounding, BASE BEAT, which seems to be a must for modern day music of all forms. To the point that the Base Beat, that Deep, Intense, Pounding, THUMP, THUMP, quite honestly, OVER POWERS, everything else. And one of the big reasons why I, personally, don't really, like, and can't really, take to most of the modern music today.Base is not EVERYTHING, it must be kept in mind. And does not MAKE, the music, at all. But is but, only, ONE PART, of an OVERALL, COMPLEX, musical, mix. With great lyrics, rhythm, melody, and instrumentals and so forth, tossed in, as well. This nonsense that "Old School" Music is somehow "Passed It" and "Inferior" to modern music, is utter crap. Not everything about modern music is so great or fantastic, and it is highly, unlikely, that it will last any longer, or be any more popular, by future generations, than all the so called "Old School" Music, which continually gets trashed by the youth of today. This INCLUDES, "70s STYLE" Disco Music.I'm quite happy that people like Adam and Nile, seem to realize this, and seem to be making SOME, attempt, at least, to revive this music. But for me; if it does NOT, have that STRONG, 70s Influence, with all this entails then, it will NEVER, be DISCO, as I know and love it.Just take a good listen to some of the old 70s Disco Tunes, and you should know EXACTLY, what I'm talking about.Love and Best.Out For Now.And LONG LIVE DISCO!7Os STYLE, Disco. I Might Add.My Best. Out.
