@ComaAlpha zach has song before he is not that bad chris sounds funny and he is just "rapping"

Tom knew that Chris was a much different beast than Zach, thus the Audioslave tunes/riffs still have that distinctive Tom Morello sound, but is more restricted and way more melodic in sound compared to the Rage tunes. The ASlave tunes sounded more like complete music where the Rage tunes sound like he made beats with the bass and guitar. And it makes sense seeing that Zach was OBVIOUSLY not a singer. He was a rapper. Chris doing Zach's songs are bad, but imagine Zach doing Soundgarden..ugh
