1959 it was recorded, and still sounds progressive as hell! Joey Ramone loved Joe Meek.

I love this more than I can say. I loved this song when I was 6 years old. It sounds right at home in 2015!

A melancholy masterpiece. Full decades ahead of its time. Love it. Bravo Joe Meek and Atlas Sound.

Poor Joe Meek, put him in the RHOF right now! His music spoke to me like nothing else when I was six years old, and I still love it more than I can say.

Eerie, beautiful. The intentional out-of-tuneness is very alien. They do it slightly differently than Joe Meeks did, but it's very faithful in spirit. He would have loved it. There is a great wistfulness and sorrow in this song. If the real aliens are this sensitive, we have nothing to worry about. This was the beginning of Rock 'n Roll becoming the music of the world.

Joe Meek, you suceeded with me. I heard this song exactly once in 1960, when i was six. I remembered it for 35 years, and then I bought it. Get 'em while they're young!

i first heard valley of the saroos by joe meek when i was six years old, on the radio. I thought it was scary, but loved it. I never heard it again until the 1990's, but i had remembered it all that time. I was glad to finally own a copy. One of my favorite songs when I was six. Catchy little number, isn't it?
