Wow! Is that really true in what the captions stated? Couldn't imagine living like that! It can be hard here in Ireland, but that's crazy! God bless Mexico and her people.

In retrospect, I should have said people living in first world countries, or at least most of the people in the middle or upper classes have the luxury of dancing while the majority of the world struggles to surive. I give a significant portion of my income each to charity, I'm not saving the world, but I do my part. I also feel like I'm a part of the problem too, it's easy to just turn away from the ugly things in this world and just listen to another song or watch another video.

Hey rednailsbluelips it's not Mars Volta. Point is that women in Juarez being killed and no-one doing anything about it. American companies set up factories in Juarez employ local for minimal wages but don't want to help with the social problems in the area. They just want the cheap labour. the cops and goverment wont do anything because of the drug cartels and organised crime in the area. The problem is that this song was made at least 5 years ago and nothing has changed in Juarez. Very sad.
